The annual Boston Fashion Awards, a prestigious event in the fashion industry since 2012, took place on November 11th, 2024, at the elegant Bradford Ballroom in the Courtyard Marriott. The glamorous event was a celebration of the immense talent and creativity within Boston’s thriving fashion scene, bringing together fashion designers, models, stylists, photographers, retailers, and fashion enthusiasts under one roof.

Michael Zotos, founder of the Boston Fashion Awards, has been instrumental in establishing this event as a landmark occasion in the fashion calendar. His dedication to promoting local talent and fostering a vibrant fashion community has made him a respected figure in the industry, earning him a Boston Fashion Icon award in 2024 for his efforts.

Marlena Garcia was the event director, ensuring that every aspect of the 2024 Boston Fashion Awards was meticulously planned and executed. Her expertise in event management and passion for fashion were evident in the seamless organization and stunning presentations that annual attendees have come to expect.

The Boston Fashion Awards has never been just about fashion, it was also a night filled with toe-tapping performances that added to the excitement and glamour of the event.

Featured performers included Whiskey 6, a pop-country band well-known in the Boston area. With their dynamic stage presence and electrifying music, Whiskey 6 performed several covers with pitch-perfect harmonies.

Bam the Drummer added some rhythmic flair to the evening, Bam the Drummer’s extraordinary skills captivated attendees as they started to dance in the aisles! His performance was a highlight of the night, bringing an infectious energy into the ballroom.

Vocalist & musician Chris Barber performed during the VIP reception adding an additional touch of elegance and sophistication with his smooth vocals.

The event was hosted by Cecy del Carmen, an accomplished emcee and television personality, along with co-host Joshua Paul, known for his dynamic stage presence. Along with musical assistance by DJ Richie C and DJ Diane, their rapport and enthusiasm ensured that the evening flowed smoothly and that all attendees had an unforgettable experience.

The Boston Fashion Awards is mostly known for it’s showcases of cutting-edge fashion, featuring runway shows that highlight the latest collections from top and up-coming designers. The annual event provides a platform for fashion designers to present their innovative creations, models to strut their stuff, and stylists to showcase their talent. The models for the showcases were styled by the team from Haus of Beauty plus coordinated by Liya Kay and fashion stylist Dana Kramer.

Behind the scenes, Technical Director John Bilotti and his crew helped turn the Bradford Ballroom into a high-tech venue with TV monitors, moving head lights, and room filling audio.

Photographers and media professionals also captured every moment, ensuring that the stunning looks and unforgettable performances were immortalized.

The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the nominees and winners in various categories, recognizing the outstanding contributions of individuals and brands to the local fashion industry.
